Cooper Center is the the main location for many events throughout the year. The most common event is our weekely Sunday Farmers Market. Get here early because venders are setting up and ready to go by 6:00 am and it is all over by 10 am.

We also offer cakes, coffee, shave ice!! Our community center's Thrift Store and Bookstore 📚 will also be open during the hours of 8 am- 11:30

4th of July Parade/Craft Fair
Cancelled in 2020 due to COVID19
The annual 4th of July celebration in Volcano Village centers around Cooper Center. It is always on the 4th regardless of the day of the week. In 2020 this will be on a Saturday. It starts off at the Volcano Post Office with a fantastic parade through the village down Old Volcano Road then turns up Wright Road and ending at Cooper Center where all the activities, food and entertainment are. The whole shebang is put together by a dedicated bunch of people including Cooper Center Council and the Volcano Community Association. There is fun and food for the whole family and even the dogs (leashed of course) are allowed for this one day. Download 4th of July Forms:
Fiesta in the Forest - May 2, 2020

Join us for Cooper Center's Fiesta in the Forest! Good food, margaritas, beer, wine, and live music! Bar opens at 4pm and dinner is served from 5-7. Bring your Cooper Center mug for $1 off your beer. Don't have one? They can be purchased for $10 and can be used at all of our events!
Oktoberfest - Oct. 17, 2020
Brats, sauerkraut, German potato salad and much more is on the menu for the Cooper Center's Oktoberfest celebration! Come at 4 to snack on a pretzel while you sip a beer and listen to some live music! Dinner will be served from 5-7. Bring your Cooper Center mug for $1 off your beer or purchase one for $10.
Kamahalo Holiday Craft Fair

Volcano’s popular annual Kamahalo Holiday Craft Fair will be presented the 2 days after Thanksgiving (Friday and Saturday). More than 30 vendors will be on hand with homemade, handmade and homegrown items. Besides gift items, the Cooper Center Council volunteers will make hearty soups and food for hungry shoppers. The Kamahalo Holiday Craft Fair is a project of the Cooper Center Council and proceeds will be used to fund community activities and projects such as the Volcano Friends Feeding Friends hot meal program.
